This lightbulb is called the “Palace lightbulb.” It is the second longest shining lightbulb in the world and it is located in the Stockyards Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. Illuminated for 105 years and going, it has never gone out because it has never been disconnected from the power source – ever!

This little bulb was created to shine, and so are we! 

If we are connected to the power source of the world, we will be switched on and off depending on the situations of life. We will be energized by people, situations, feelings, circumstances, finances, and holidays. However, this type of energy turns on and off, it isn’t constant. There is a switch, and over time the coil becomes fragile and eventually breaks.

The energy of heaven is completely different. It is constant and unwavering. It is the powerhouse that we are created to draw our life force from. We weren’t meant to disconnect from it, ever!

God’s glory illuminated the entire creation process. It is the foundation our entire universe rests upon! His glory contains His goodness. As long as we stay constantly connected to this source, our lives will shine!
