What” we hear is important, but “how” we hear is invaluable!

Two people can hear the same truth, and yet not hear the same thing.

One person might be filtering their hearing through their own life-experiences, feelings, upbringing, knowledge, culture, assumptions, or what they’ve seen or not seen. This type of hearing can easily distort or block something new from being revealed. We see this dramatically displayed when Jesus, Truth in the flesh, walked the earth.

Another person might be hearing with a receptive and open heart, a wide lens, an outlook that is flexible and adaptable, or with a pure and humble heart. This person will receive progressively more revelation until they have more than enough! ✨ 

“So pay careful attention to your hearts as you listen to my teaching, for to those who have open hearts, even more revelation will be given to them until it overflows. And for those who do not listen with open hearts, what little light they imagine themselves to have will be taken away.”   Luke 8:18
