My heart has been pondering the following verses:
Ephesians 3:14-20
For this reason I bend my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to all the fullness of God.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
1 Corinthians 2:9
“Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the human heart,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”
These two scripture passages scream LIMITLESS!! to me! There are so many things we need to be stepping into in Christ – things Jesus did that are available to us, but that we think are out of scope for us here and now.
Everything Jesus did as the son of man is within range for us as new creation believers. It’s time we start exploring the limitless life that Jesus lived and believing that we can live the same way!
So, what did Jesus do without limit?
- There is no record of him ever being sick
- There is no record of him ever having any kind of financial or material lack
- There is no record of him ever not being in full control of what was facing him
- He ruined every funeral he ever attended
- He had full mastery of nature including weather patterns and animals
- He had full control of his life, whether or not, or when he would lay it down
- He was never without the inside wisdom or knowledge of a situation that he was in
- Several times he walked through a crowd or dematerialized
- He was glorified and transfigured in prayer
- He had unlimited access to heaven
- He had an unlimited scope of relationship with the father
- He had unlimited life flowing out from himself
- He knew every key to unlock faith in the people who came to him for healing
- He had the Holy Spirit without measure!!!!
In true “Lets Go Up” language – we need to refuse to normalize anything in our lives that is less than Christ!! If Jesus did it, we can do it too!
So good and so true!!
Cheers everyone!
